The temple has a strict dress code- Women are required to wear sarees, mundum neriyathum (set-mundu), skirt and blouse, or half-saree. Young girls below the age of 12 may wear gowns. Men are similarly required to wear mundu or dhoti and go bare in the torso.

Day 1 : Cochin – Munnar[139 kms|3.5 hrs]

Rivers”, is the most popular hill station in Kerala. Munnar was the favoured
summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Sprawling
teaplantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday
facilities make Munnar aunique experience. The breath-taking view from the
mountains of Munnar are a true feast for the eyes. The charmingly period era
Letchmi estate will take you back to a simpler time with its quaint villages,
woodland groves, beautiful tea gardens and winding country roads all
comfortably cradled between the hills and mountains of Munnar. It is also home
to Eravikulam National Park and the critically endangered Nilgiri Thar, the
destination offers unmatched sightseeing experiences. All of the this combined
with beautiful weather year-round transforms the beautiful hill station into

Day 2 : Munnar
<p>After breakfast, begin a beautiful day of sightseeing in and around Munnar. If you begin your day at 8.30 AM you can cover the following sightseeing depends upon the weather and traffic condition. Day 3 : Munnar – Thekkady[110 kms|3 hrs]
<p align="justify">Today after breakfast, you will leave for Thekkady, the venue of the famous Periyar (Thekkady) Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the most well-maintained wildlife sanctuaries of south India. Spread out over an area of 777 sq. km, the sanctuary boasts of a splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar dam across the Periyar river, which adds to the charm of the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters as you cruise along the lake in the confines of a boat. Once you reach, check in at hotel for the night,</p><p>There are lot of optional activities (Extra chargeable) available in Thekkady which includes</p><p>Periyar boating</p><p>Spice plantation visit</p><p>Watching kalari payatu or Kathakali dance show</p><p>Elephant riding /Elephant bathing</p><p>Jeep safari to various view points</p><p><br></p><p>Overnight stay at hotel.</p>
Day 4 : Thekkady -Alleppey[180 kms|4 hrs]
<p align="justify">Breakfast .Check out and drive to Alleppey. On arrival, embark on a Houseboat .12 noon is the standard check in time in houseboat .You can enjoy cruising in houseboat till 5:30 in the evening and boat will get halted in lake for an overnight stay. While in houseboat there are options for arranging narrow canal cruise(extra chargeable) ,through the palm fringed canals; watch the Paddy fields, village folk; relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind & waves. This mysterious strip of emerald green land is stuffed with endless miles of placid backwaters that appends to its charm. Cruise till the evening by then the houseboat halts in the lake for overnight stay. (Next day, cruising starts at 8 am.)</p>
Day 5 : Alleppey - Poovar/Kovalam[200 kms|4 hrs]
<p align="justify">After breakfast, you will leave Alleppey for the palm-fringed beach of Kovalam, one of the most famous beach towns in India. The boundless blue waters of the Arabian Sea and miles of white sand washedaway by the surf, make this beach a veritable paradise on earth, one that abounds in beauty and a veritable treasure trove of activities. if you wish to lie back and relax, sunset viewing. Check into a hotel for a two-night’s stay. Day at leisure.</p>

Day 6 : Kovalam/Poovar – Trivandrum
<p align="justify">Breakfast at residing hotel. Proceed to visit Padmanabhaswami temple area and cover sightseeing the city of Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), the capital city of Kerala, which still preserves the ancient roots of Kerala life. You can still glimpse the relics of ancient architecture prominent in most of its buildings. Visit, the Horse Palace and Napier Museum & Zoo, Poovar backwaters - boating (Extra chargeable) and head back to the hotel.</p><p align="justify">Overnight stay at hotel.</p>
Day 7 : Trivandrum Drop
<p align="justify">After breakfast. Check out and drop at Airport for your onward flight. Aboard the flight or train to your destination.
